Designing your tote bag is the fun creative part.

  1. Start by opening Cricut Design Space and choosing your canvas size.

  2. Select a font, image, or upload your own design.

  3. Resize the design to fit your tote bag. Most designs look best centered and not too large.

  4. Mirror your design before cutting since iron on vinyl must be cut in reverse.

  5. Choose the correct vinyl setting and cut your design.

Once cut, carefully weed away the excess vinyl so only your design remains.

  5. Cover with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet.

  6. Press firmly using steady pressure for the recommended time.

  7. Allow the vinyl to cool slightly before peeling the carrier sheet.

If needed, press again for a few seconds to ensure the vinyl is fully adhered.

  • Use firm even pressure when pressing the design.
