How to Make an Origami Cat

  1. Start with the paper color-side down
    Fold the square diagonally to make a triangle. Crease well and leave it folded.

  2. Form the cat's head
    With the flat side of the triangle facing down, fold the left and right corners up toward the top point to create two ears. Adjust to make them even.

  3. Make the face
    Flip the paper over. You should now see the pointed ears sticking up. Fold the bottom point up just slightly to round out the chin.

  4. Optional: Add features
    Use a pen or marker to draw on eyes, a nose, and whiskers. You can also add a little bow or other decoration if you like.
